PDA 2009 Announces Call for Papers

PDA is currently seeking scientific abstracts for presentation at the PDA 2009 Annual Meeting, taking place April 20-24, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV, which will explore the current and future impact of computerization and automation. The Call for Papers deadline is June 30, 2008.

# PDA is interested in presentations in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical community regarding innovative actions in the past year that have involved the use of computerized systems, such as: Solving an unusually difficult technical problem
# Developing an efficiency or quality improvement idea
# Introducing a novel way of using computers and automation to improve process reliability or consistency
# Managing process development data with unique software applications
# Introducing new ways to automate Quality Assurance processes

Abstracts must be noncommercial in nature, describe new developments or work, and significantly contribute to the body of knowledge relating to pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality management, and technology.
